Hillcrest: Melinda R. Turner, 59, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2011. She is survived by her husband, Clifton Turner; her children, Bernadette and William Collins, and Dale Warner; her step-children, Jeffery and Angel Turner, Robert and Shanine Turner, and Staci and Anthony Birtch; her grandchildren, Alexander, Savanah, Alexis, Ashley, Makayla, Jessica, Wyatt, Maia, Malana, Hailey, and Dominick; her sister, Delores and Henry Borchers; many nieces and nephews; and many very special friends. A memorial service will be held at 8:00 pm on Friday, December 9, at Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St., Port Dickinson with Pastor W. Lea Harding officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 pm until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations in Melinda's memory may be made to the Lupus Foundation at www.lupus.org
