Patricia J. Gill

Patricia J. Gill, of Binghamton, 82, went home to be with the Lord and was reunited with her husband and many other family members on Sunday, July 12, 2015. Patricia was predeceased by her parents, William and Marie Space; husband, John J. Gill Sr., and sisters, Catherine Patterson, Emma McBride, Ida Spak and Dorothy Patrick. She is survived by her children, John J. Jr. and Diane Gill, Thomas W. and Cecelia Gill, Catherine and Mark Andrus, Michael Gill, David P. and Christine Gill, Patrick D. Gill and Lee Shapiro, Karen M. and Mark Leighton, James C. and Amy Gill; grandchildren, Colleen and Dan Grzywacz, Shannon and Dexter Williams, Molly Gill, Maureen Gill, Megan Gill, Thomas Gill, Andy and Lucie Gill, Ryan Gill, Julia Gill, Brendan Gill, Olivia Gill, Melissa and Nick Brown, Nathaniel Andrus, Neal Andrus, Elizabeth Andrus, Russell Andrus, Chelsey Gill, Tyler Gill, Callie Gill, McKenna Gill, Daniel Leighton, Katie Leighton, Emma Leighton, Abigail Leighton, James Gill, Samuel Gill, John Gill, Joseph Gill, Mary Gill and Anthony Gill; great grandchildren, Stella Grzywacz, John Paul Grzywacz, Troy Williams, Noah Brown, Liam Brown, Lindsay Brown and Maizie Brown; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Beatrice and Gerald Tamkins and Irene Dunbar, also several nieces, nephews and cousins. Patricia was a former member of St. Paul's Church and recently has been a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church. She was a retired employee of NY Telephone and a former employee of the Binghamton School District. She was a true matriarch of her family. She firmly believed in faith, family, love and kindness toward all. Patricia was a loving and devout wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend, she will be dearly missed by many. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at 10:00 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Hillcrest, NY burial will be Thursday at 2:30 PM at the St. James Cemetery in Pleasant Mount, PA. Family and friends are invited to the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home 737 Chenango St. Port Dickinson, NY 13901 on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 from 4:00-7:00 PM.
