Jean Richey Helton, 75, formerly of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, November 13, 2015 at Eastview Rehabilitation in Birmingham, AL. Jean was born March 16, 1940 in Chattanooga, Tennessee to Robert E. and Margaret (Guthrie) Richey. Jean was a loving wife, adoring mom, and proud Nana, she will be greatly missed by all. She was married to Elmer G. Helton on August 13, 1969. He preceded her in death on August 11, 2013. Surviving family members are her daughter: Patti Sweat (Brent), granddaughters: Rory, Rana, and Lindley Reese, great granddaughter: Tatum, brothers: Ed Richey (Dixie), Robert Richey (Sara), and sister: Ginger McGhee(Eddy).
