John was the nicest friend you could have. we met him in our Sunday School class st Eastmont Baptist Church. I, also new John when he would come to the YMCA to exercise. I will always remember Uncle John and our talks on the telephone and emails.  He was a great man and I will miss him.

I consider John one of my dearest friends and a mentor for many years.  He will be sadly missed by many.  He is resting now with Ms. Betty.
