She is survived by her mother, Sarah Howell (Elmer), son; Michael Johnson Jr. daughter; Ashley L. Amos, brother; Glenn Walls (Fran), sisters; Peggy Ferrell (Doug), Janice Mayfield and Nancy Grimes (John), grandchildren; Zachary Amos and Gracie Amos, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Douglas Walls and husband, J.R. Horton.
She loved her children, grandchildren and family very much. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, daughter and sister and will be greatly missed by those who loved her.
A Memorial service will be held at 2:00p.m. Thursday , September 13, 2012 at Springdale Baptist Church in Tarrant, AL.
