I know that I put a memory on here already but I really need to say something I love you Daddy and I'm so sorry for rebellioning against you I didn't understand about you being so hard on me made me feel like you didn't love me but I was wrong you was hard on me because you did Love me. You are my Hero Daddy and I miss you everyday I wanted closer with you so bad and I didn't get a chance to get that I know you wanted me to come to Alabama because you worried about me getting in trouble because I chose the wrong people to be around but my people picker is broken 💔 but not anymore I will make you proud and show the family I will carry the Baldwin name and hold my head up high I'm honored that God chose you and mom to be my parents.

Pawpaw
     I never told you how proud i was to be your granddaughter. I bragged about you all the time because He was the most extraordinary man I've ever met he could build anything and fix everything. he might have been the toughest on all of us but i could turn him into the biggest softy.I am the true definition of a pawpaws girl all i had to do was give him the sad eyes and he couldn't say no to me. if it wasn't for him who knows where michael and i would be. I am so grateful for you. Im so blessed to be a apart of the family you built. And i promise ill keep making you proud. I know you worry about us but we will be fine expecially since we have the funniest coolest angel ever..Thank you for teaching me to be the strong independent women i am today..I'm gonna miss your random text and facetime on the Alexa.honestly it would make my day to see your face and hear your voice.i love you so much pawpaw and im gonna miss you more than anything. You will forever be my hero and the person i strive to be. I love you pawpaw

I miss you calling every morning, asking what I was doing.  I am not sure if I told you but, you were my Best Friend.  

I know you were Proud of me but, I just did what I thought was best decision.  Thank you for taking care of us and being our rock!!

On behalf of the Melvin & Gloria Rush family, our thoughts go out to Joyce, Lynn, Deborah and the extended Baldwin family on the loss of Marvin. Our grandmother, Thelma was Ruth’s sister.  We have fond memories of Ruth, Marvin and his brothers Jack & Stanley. RIP Marvin. With sympathy Rhett, Rhonda, Roxane & Ryan Rush 

Marvin was a strong, proud man. Loved his family. He will be greatly missed. 

Joy and Family, Marvin was always the one we could count on. He was here for Class Reunions and Phi Sig Reunions. We went from Cranmer School through High School together. He will be missed. As Harty Hart said, “We’ll see him Down the Road.

We worked years together side by side in that small office - you get to know somebody in that environment... Even though we had years apart in age, it seemed like we were from the same generation.  We helped each other break up the mundane of that occupation. Between you, Patrick and me, the pranks were heavy in that office. If someone went in the back room and had the unfortunate memory lapse of leaving his keys on his desk.  He might come out and find that his truck was missing! (we usually just hid it on the other side of the parking lot).  I know I took the pranks too far. Like the time (during summer), that I hid the fish under your truck seat. It took weeks for you to figure out what that smell was. We did have lots of fun working together. 

I will cherish your memory in my heart forever. Thank you for making me play classical music in the office, I appreciate it now.  I will miss the talks we had about history, lakes, cars, aviation and life.  You were always proud of your family and your beloved Alabama. I'm happy you got to move back there after you retired. Love you- Brian 

Such a great man!! I will miss our conversations and his random texts asking when I was coming to Alabama to visit! We started working together , as his boss we butted heads many times, he was the hardest worker I had ever seen! His dedication was unmatched, he once came to work straight out of the hospital, we fought for an hour til he relented and went home to rest!  His love of life, his family, hunting and flying was contagious and he loved to share his experiences with you with great stories! There is not a buck safe in heaven or a plane he won’t fly! He became my dear friend and I will miss him terribly! Rest In Peace Marv!! ♥️♥️

So sorry for your loss.  Marvin and I were in band together at Murphy.  I know he will be missed.

The Baldwin family.
All of us here in Oklahoma just wanted to express our deepest sympathy for your family. Marvin or Starvin Marvin as he was known to us was one of a kind he started hunting with us in the 80s every year you could count on Starvin showing up which became a tradition with us we would fire up the smoker put a deer on it and start drinking the night before season opened up and no matter how late or how drunk he was always ready to go come morning. Marvin was one of the best natured people I ever met he loved to laugh he could give as good as he got he was always laughing even when we would push him past his limits like when we walked him 15 miles or put him on a mule for 16 hours or when he almost got us arrested twice for hunting in the refuge or when he almost got us arrested for sneaking in a housing addition and he decided to shoot a deer in a ladies yard and told me grab it and run. But some how we always made it back with stories to tell and something to laugh about. Starvin Marvin you will truly be missed by us all tell the others when you get there save us a spot and have a drink of Old Jim Beam for the rest of us. Love you brother
