FIFLES, TASIA GRAMMAS, of Hoover, passed away in on May 7, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband Gus "Deno" G. Fifles (Feb. 2021), her parents, Chris K. and Christine Derzis Grammas; her sister and brother-in-law, Maria and Pete Eugenis, and brothers-in-law, Ernie, Pete, Phil, and Art Fifles. She is survived by her children, George, Stephani, Chris, and Mark (Lisa) Fifles, her grandchildren, Chantelle Amerson,Chrysten Wilson (Jeremy); and great-grandson, Jimmy Wilson, all of Birmingham, AL; Godson, Jason Orfanon, Washington, D.C.; and several beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.Tasia was born on June 30, 1932, in Birmingham, Alabama. When she married in 1957, she moved to Des Plaines, IL, but returned to Birmingham, Alabama with her family in 1967. She was a devoted member of Holy Trinity -Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Cathedral, where she was a longtime member of the choir and the Philoptochos Society.Pallbearers are Ted Eugenis, Chris Eugenis, Cameron Eugenis, Johnny Ippolito; Billy Orfanon and Ted Pihakis.Due to Covid-19 restrictions, visitation will be held on Monday, May 10, 2021, at Holy Trinity-Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Cathedral (307 South 19th Street ) from 10:00a.m.-12:00 p.m., with the funeral service starting at Noon.
