Concetta Romano

Concetta Romano ( Cavigliano ), 85, died on Monday, Nov. 7, 2011 at Clara Maass Med. Ctr., Belleville. Funeral services will be conducted from the Zarro Funeral Home, 145 Harrison St., Bloomfield.( Memories and condolences can be shared at www.zarrofuneralhome.net), on Thursday at 9:30 am followed by a mass at 10:30 am at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Belleville. The burial will be at St. Vincent’s Cemetery, Madison. Visitation will be on Tuesday 7-9 pm and Wednesday 4-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory will be accepted to Bethlehem Hermitage, 82 Pleasant Hill Rd., Chester, NJ 07930.

Dolly was a member of the Silver Lake Civic Association and St. Anthony Seniors Club, she also volunteered as a seamstress for baptismal bibs. She worked in the garment industry before being a homemaker.

Surviving are her loving sons and their wives, Pasqual and Roxane, Roland and Josephine and Eugene and Darlene Romano; cherished grandchildren, Christopher, Anthony, Michelle and James.

She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony Romano; parents, Rosa (Genovese) and Frank Cavigliano; siblings, Anthony, Thomas and Frank Cavigliano, Mary Petrillo and Lillian DiTaranto.
