Eleanor Dawn Scott

She went to be with the Lord on October 28th 2016

Eleanor LOVED life and she loved to work with children. She loved to share her love and relationship with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with everyone she met. Mom loved to hand out Tootsie Roll pops with the words “Jesus Loves You” that she had hand written on every handle. She was a very kind and loving person who always had a beautiful smile no matter what she was going through. Mom left a living Legacy for her family and friends to smile on and have continuous laughter in our hearts.

She was preceded in death by her husband John Allen Scott Sr. in 1991.

She was the youngest of eight children. She is survived by her sisters Margie Bentley, Bonnie Ainsworth, Claudia Hornbuckle, and Mary Lou Fillius, and her brother John Ford. She was preceded in Death by her brother Donald Ford and her sister Dorothy Smith.

She is Survived by three sons, John A. Scott Jr.(Debbie), Cory Scott(Karen), and her baby Eric Scott.

She was a Wonderful and Loving Grandmother to her Grandchildren, Matthew, Alexandria, Samantha, and Gregory and her countless adopted grandchildren.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

The Memorial and Burial Services will be held at Green Acres Memorial park and Mortuary.

Memorial service will be held at Green Acres Chapel on 11/18/16

Service time is 11:00am with Graveside service to follow.
