Gail Gwen Huneycutt

Gail was born in Washington, DC on April 21, 1959 to Talfourd Thurman Huneycutt, Jr and Carol Marie (Sime) Huneycutt. She moved with her mother and sisters to Riverside, CA in 1966. Except for a two-year period in Brigham City, Utah, Gail remained a California resident for the rest of her life. She graduated from Bloomington High School in 1977, where she played on the girl’s tennis team. For the last 35 years, Gail had worked in the medical supply field, most recently as warehouse manager for Stryker.

Gail is survived by lifelong friend Caprice Stagg of Bloomington, CA, sisters Lois (Mark Smith) of Columbia, Missouri and Maggy, of Fontana, CA, nephews Derek (Taylor) Smith and Aubrey (Emily Lancaster) Smith, and niece Elizabeth King (Nathan Maxon-Hurr), as well as half-sister Kristie Cundiff (Boone’s Mill, VA), two step-sisters, many cousins, and several great-nieces and nephews.

At Gail’s request, there will be no services. Gail loved the outdoors and animals and would be pleased at any contributions made in her memory to your favorite conservation or animal welfare non-profit.
