Our loving brother Gerard Ruiz, aka Jerry, Jay, Jay Jay, passed away in his sleep Saturday, Jun 11, 2016. He is a beloved son, brother, uncle and cousin to many. He was preceded in death by his mother Clara Ruiz and father Dennis Ruiz. He is survived by his sister, Maria Calvert who took care of him, and is survived by his older brother Arthur Ruiz; sister-in-law Remy Ruiz; sister Anna Ruiz; his brother Adrian Ruiz and sister-in-law Sylvia Ruiz; and his niece Clarisa Montoya who loved him dearly. He worked all his adult life and never missed a day if he didn't have to. He enjoyed his job at March Air Force Base as a custodian. Service will be held at Green Acres Mortuary, 11715 Cedar Ave., Bloomington, CA 92316 on Monday, June 20. Viewing starts at 10am followed by Rosary said by Roberta Padilla then a Mass will follow.
