

July 15, 1930 - March 6, 2021 Hazel Evelyn (Bracconnier) Swallow, 90, longtime resident of Bloomington, CA passed away peacefully in Fontana. She was born July 15, 1930 in Spencer, Massachusetts, the daughter Andrew and Florence (Tucker) Bracconnier.
Hazel was a graduate of David Prouty High School in Spencer. In 1949 she married Calvin Swallow and several years later they left Massachusetts to make their home in California. Calvin passed away in 1992.
Hazel worked for Colton Joint Unified School District until her retirement 25 years ago. Since her retirement she spent her years with her loving companion of many years, Arthur Henry. Together they traveled to Michigan and Texas to see family and participating in the Route 66 Parade as well as others in their Red Bugatti Kit Car. They had many great adventures together until Art passed away in 2015.
Surviving her are daughters, Holly Carmack, Joy Walston (Steve), Melody Edwards (Bud), Star Rhodes (Chris), and Art's daughter Judi Ramirez; grandchildren, Jennifer, Robin, Cody, Rebecca, and great grandchildren Caleb and Hope.
Additionally Hazel was predeceased by her brother Henry Bracconnier, sister Edna Gregory and son-in-law Dennis Carmack.
