Joe was born in Martinez, California, graduated from Alhambra High School with the class of 1966 and graduated from San Diego State with a lifetime teaching credential. His career spanned years in the grocery business with Safeway Stores and Stater Bros and the Housing Authority of San Bernardino County as a Human Resources Director. He opened and operated his insurance office in San Bernardino.
He is survived by his wife, Patti, children Cindy, Tony, Tina and Evan, 9 grandchildren, his sister Virginia, brother David, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was active in Kiwanis, Seaside Singers, and the Lutheran Church. He was known by all to be a fan of San Francisco Giants baseball, golfing, and Dr. Pepper.
He was granted eternal life through the love and sacrifice of his Savior, Jesus Christ.
A funeral service for Joseph will be held Thursday, August 1, 2024 from 10:00 AM at Grace Lutheran Church, 539 N Acacia Ave, Rialto, CA 92376. Following the funeral service will be a committal service from 2:30 PM at Green Acres Memorial Park Mortuary, 11715 Cedar Ave, Bloomington, CA 92316.
