Katherine was a truly amazing woman and loved her husband. . . they will both be missed. . . I will always remember her beauty inside and out.  I will never forget how special she was. . . Hugs, Lynette Vance

Growing up as close as we did to Aunt Katherine and Uncle Ted made it possible for us to share many family events and not just the usual holidays. Memories were created which now reside in our "best of times" stories we tell our children. We will remember them fondly always and hope those memories bring as much comfort to our cousins as they say goodbye to their mother as they did for us as we said goodbye to our mother.

I too grew up living just a few houses away from the Lanes'. I can still recall sleepovers with Susan where we giggled all night long. Katherine, or Mrs. Lane as I called her then, was always so gracious and fun to be around. Sending my sincerest condolences to the entire family.

My mom was the most beautiful loving, caring, gracious person ever put on this earth. As a mother she was golden. She was not only my mother but my greatest advocate and she taught me more than anyone I have know. I have had amazing, long conversations with her about things she never shared with anyone else and I will treasure those always and I will miss her dearly. My heart is broken. My aunt Katherine  had a tremendous love for her family. I have such fond memories from my childhood growing up just a few houses away from my aunt, uncle and cousins. I remember Katherine and my mother Dorothy, sitting at the kitchen table talking and laughing. She had the best laugh. She is the last of those who loved and raised us.... 
We will miss her...All our love and sympathy to my cousins.
