Richard Brooks Wellington

Richard Brooks Wellington passed away at home in Rialto, California on March 11,2021 where he lived for 68 years. Richard was born in 1926 in Doniphan, Missouri to Richard and Opal Welllington. He was the beloved husband of Inez Wellington who preceded him in death in 2013.

Richard is survived by his children: Rhonda (Mike) Gunderman of Rialto, California, Russell (Cindi) Wellington of Arnold, Missouri and Ronald Wellington of Laguna Niguel, California. He also had sons Richard and Robin Wellington who preceded him in death. He also has grandchildren: Richard Wellington, Rachell Wellington, Mary Jett, Melissa Snell, Alana Wellington, Adam Wellington, Amber Glass, Jack Clair, Jessica Cameron, Josh Wellington and many great great grandchildren.

Richard is survived by his siblings: Blant Tharp, Dalia Garrison and Ralph Tharp.

Richard served in the Army and was a World War II Veteran. He was a member of the Robert Allen Romo American Legion in Rialto for 46 years. He was also a member of La Société es 40 Hommes et 8 Chevaux for 40 years.

Services will be held at Green Acres Cemetery, Bloomington, California on April 27,2021.
