Sandra J. Ray

Saundra graduated from La Marque High School, class of 1968. After graduation she married her high school sweet heart and soul mate Arthur Ray. They settled in Houston and Saundra started her long nursing career by attending Houston Community College for the LVN program. In 1976, Saundra moved to California to continue her nursing career by obtaining her LVN license at East LA Community College. Then went on to study nursing at the Los Angeles County / University of Southern California Medical Center. In 2002 Saundra attended the University of Phoenix to accomplish and achieve her Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing. After 38 years of hard work and determination she finally retired from LAC+USC Medical Center as a RN Charge Nurse in 2015.

Saundra is survived by her Husband Arthur Ray; 3 children: Troy Ray, Tahirah Williams and Terrance Young. Daughter in law: Julia Ray and Son in law: Bruce Williams. 7 Grandchildren: Chelsea Ray, Eric Mallard, Aaron Williams, Ella Ray, Chloe Williams, Olivia Ray, Troy Ray Jr. 1 living sister: Barbara Young and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
