Stephen was born October 13,1985 in Kansas City , Kansas. When Stephen was born he was not expected to live long with his own heart but he made it with his heart until he was 12 when he got his first heart transplant. which went alright. When Stephen was born his Nana told his Mom(Wendie) to fly out here so Stephen could be seen at LLMUC. at only a few weeks old. That heart was only alright for a few yrs. After a few yrs he was in need of another transplant. Which he did get in May. Stephen was just coming up on 5 yrs. with the heart he has now when we got the news that his heart was giving out. Our baby Stephen was not going to be with us much longer....At that point all of the family grabbed ahold of Stephen and we faught like mad to keep him as long as we could. He faught hard and long for 3 months. Going to Dialysis 3 to 4 times a week , going in and out of the hospital and you could see everyday he got weaker and weaker until Aug 11, 2006 Stephen laid down for his after Dialysis nap and he was on his way to meet our creator. We all gathered at the hospital in hopes that our Amazing Stephen would wake up and tell us it was alright like every other time before.
Stephen was one of a kind and no one else could every come close to being as amazing as he was. He made and impression on so many peoples lives. He will be missed by all of his family and friends.
