August 13, 1920 – June 28, 2014
Virginia Helen Rosanova 93, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2014 surrounded by her sons and daughters at her home in Rialto, California. Virginia was petite of stature, but immense in grace, spirit, love and kindness, a genuine angel on earth, who was adored by anyone she encountered. She was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin, raised in Michigan and lived in Lombard, Illinois. She has left a legacy of love and devotion of family that will continue on for generations!
Virginia is predeceased by her husband, Rudolph (Rudy) P. Rosanova Sr.; son, James P. Rosanova; daughter, Geana (Babe) Hernandez, and grandson, Robert (Bobby) Regan.
Virginia leaves behind three sons, Ralph L. Rosanova, Ronald (Ron) Rosanova and Rudolph (Rudy) P. Rosanova Jr. (Ellie), six daughters, Margaret (Margie) Sweeney, Armida Regan (Jim), JoAnne Rosanova-Cooper (Paul), Roseanne Hlavacka (John), Loretta (Lori) Prather (Kevin) and Michaeline (Mickey) Ponce de Leon. She also leaves behind 50 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Virginia demonstrated her love of family wholeheartedly! 65 years of making handmade crocheted dresses, hats, socks, blankets, doilies, tablecloths and bedspreads for her children and grandchildren. She also made dolls, self-taught beautiful oil paintings, ornaments…all out of love for her family. In the past she loved gardening and took care of her favorite flowers… peonies, lily of the valley, irises, tulips and roses. She had a love for birds and bird watching.
You will be missed mom! Forever in our hearts!
