She was born on December 30, 1925 in Bloomington, the daughter of Robert and Beulah Moore Newell. She married Wayne D. Biddle in 1951 in Bloomington and he preceded her in death on November 3, 2008.
She is survived by her four sons: Gary (Teresa) Biddle of Heyworth, Casey (Vanessa) Biddle of Bloomington, Steve Biddle of Normal, and Glenn (Annie) Wilson of Mahomet, two brothers Bill and Bob Newell, one sister Mary, and several grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother David Newell and two sisters, Shirley Newell and Joyce Newell.
Alice retired from the Illinois Supreme Court as a court reporter. She was an avid card player and participated in numerous bowling and golf leagues. Alice was of the Methodist Faith.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday June 20, 2013 at East Lawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, where entombment will take place following services.
