Brian Lee Lambert

Brian L. Lambert, 50, of Carlock passed away January 1, 2022. He was born June 17, 1971 to Randall and Marilyn (Jeckel) Lambert in Normal and graduated from ISU with a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business. He later went on to gain a Master’s degree in Agricultural Education from the University of Illinois. Brian was a man of passion for community outreach. He was an active member of the 4H Ardent Tillers for many years and also maintained other memberships within the community. Brian participated actively in the American Rabbit Breeders Association, Bloomington-Normal Rabbit Breeders Association, and the Illinois Rabbit Breeders Association for many years: caretaking and showing Champagne rabbits. He was on the youth chair for the Illinois Rabbit Breeders Association with his brother, Eric, and worked on the youth committee through the American Rabbit Breeders Association.

Surviving are Brian’s brothers: Eric (Tricia) Lambert, Alan Lambert; several cousins; uncle: Robert (Cees) Jeckel; and nieces and nephews: Richard (Melanie) Lambert, Shelby (Steven Nease) Beck, Leslie Lambert, Ashley Lambert, and TJ Lambert. He is preceded in passing by his: parents, uncles: Harold Jeckel, Harold Lambert, Donald Jeckel, Ray Lambert; and aunts: Merrill Lambert, Charlene Jeckel, Wanda Fern, and Jerry Lambert.

Cremation services will be provided by East Lawn Funeral Home 1102 Airport Road, Bloomington, IL. No services will be held at this time.
