Charlene R. Miller, 95, of Bloomington, IL. passed away on Monday, July 14, at The Arc of Normal. Charlene was born on October 7, 1929, in Bloomington, IL, to Lester and Lula Wheeler. She married Harry L. Miller on October 25, 1947. He passed away on September 18, 2015. Her funeral will be on Monday, July 21, at St. John’s Lutheran Church with visitation from 10-11 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. Pastor Lyn Kern will officiate.
Charlene is survived by daughter Lynda (Dennis) Bogue; granddaughter Corinna (Kelly) McBride; grandson Stephen (Lisa) Bogue; four great grandchildren: Kelsie (Adam) Roberts, Keegan McBride, Jonny Bogue, Kyleigh (Aidan) Thompson and James Bogue; three great great grandchildren: Oliver, Hayden and Jack Roberts; and many nieces and nephews.
Charlene was preceded in death by her husband, parents, great grandson Nicholas Bogue and 11 siblings: LaVerne Sutter; Lucille Broderick; Ila Granacher; Mary Myers; and Eugene, Elmer, Paul, Earl, Burl, Billy and Wayne Wheeler.
Charlene had worked at Admiral Corporation and retired from Bank Midwest. She enjoyed spending time with family, golfing and shopping.
