Dee was born July 22, 1919 to Ora and Ethel Foreman Strange. She married Dale E. Phillips November 2, 1941 in Bloomington; he preceded her in death.
Also preceding are son Mikel Phillips, Sr., a granddaughter Sarah E. Phillips, a sister Bernadine Thomas.
Surviving are 2 grandsons, Mikel Phillips, Jr. and Timothy Phillips; great grandson Mikel Phillips III, and daughter-in-law Diana Phillips, all of Bloomington.
Services will be held at a later date. Cremation rites have been accorded by East Lawn Funeral Home. Inurnment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery, LeRoy.
Dee was a homemaker and beautician. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
