Doris Lila Morris passed away on April 15, 2025, in Bloomington, Illinois surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 6, 1928, in Bloomington, Illinois to Marshall Miller and Baulah Trower.
Doris married Robert Morris on October 23, 1948, and together they shared a life full of laughter, love, and kindness.
She had a passion for cooking, baking, and watching the Weather Channel. Doris was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and loved gardening and watching Charles Stanley. Her lighthearted spirit shone through in her interactions with Kind people, always asking for their name to tell them how she’d share her lottery winnings with them, if she ever won.
Doris is survived by her sons, Danny (Patti) Morris, Alan Morris; and her daughter, Cheryl (Tammy) Shook; Doris also leaves behind two grandsons, Josh Morris and Sean Shook; siblings, Betty Shannon and Marilyn Scogin; a host of nieces and nephews. Additionally, Doris had three bonus grandchildren, Carrie Lee, Maggie Miguel, and Kellie Penn.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; siblings, Billy Miller, Sid Miller, Millie Bicknell, and Joyce Erdman.

Visitation is Monday April 21st from 4:00-5:30, service starting at 5:30 at Hope Church, 1 Yount Drive, Bloomington, Illinois.
