Elvin "Perk" Perkins, 75, of Bloomington, passed away at 10:17pm Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at ASTA Care Center of Bloomington.
Elvin was born July 16, 1936 in Kentucky and had resided in Bloomington since 1984.
He owned and managed several gas stations in the Bloomington-Normal area, as well Perkins Contracting.
Elvin was preceded in death by two sons, Tim and Adam Perkins; he is survived by several close friends.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation rites have been accorded.
