Estella Mae Meyer

Estella was born December 2, 1933, to Lon and Nancy (Daniel) Hubbs. She married the love of her life E. Russell Meyer on November 13, 1971. Together they lived a life full of love, travel, and happiness. Estella was very strong in her faith. In later life, Estella enjoyed playing bingo, jigsaw puzzles, and landscaping around her property. She was known as “Gigi “to the great grandchildren and the family adored her famous egg noodles. Estella loved helping people, especially her family. She was so proud of the grandchildren. She never treated anyone wrong and would often say “Always be kind”.

Surviving is her daughter, Cathy (James) Franks of Normal, Illinois; grandsons, Ryan J (Carmen) Franks of Urbana IL, and Benjamin R (Carly) Franks of Normal; great grandchildren, Madeleine R (Maddy) Franks, Robin E (Robby) Franks, Remy D Franks, and June E. Franks; Sister Dorothy J Weaver and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, husband, four brothers and seven sisters. The family wants to thank the staff at Carle Care hospice and the Arc of Normal for their kind compassionate care. A private family service will be held.
