

He was born March 12, 1945 in Atchison, Kansas to Bernard and Patricia (Brownlee) Hennis. He married Sandy Vanderbusch on July 19, 1991.
Frank worked for State Farm retiring in 2010. He loved to build model railroads, woodworking, fishing and playing Farmville.
Survivors include his wife: Sandy of Normal; three sons: Bernie Hennis of Holton, KS, John Hennis of Topeka, KS, Marcus Hennis of Topeka, KS; two step-sons: Brian Vanderbusch of Bloomington and Scott Vanderbusch of Normal; grandchildren: Sidney, Noah, Max Hennis of Mayetta, KS and Mercedes Hennis of Dennison, KS; mother: Patricia Hennis of Holton, KS; brothers: Ron (Suzanne) Hennis of Mayetta, KS, Bill (Deana) Hennis of Byron, IL; sister: Janice (Vaughn) Moulden of Topeka, KS; and many nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his father: Bernard Hennis; two brothers: Ken and Roger Hennis; sister: Patsy Clemetson.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7pm Sunday October 12, 2014 and again from 10 to 11 am Monday October 13, 2014. Funeral Service will be at 11am all at East Lawn Funeral Home, 1102 Airport Rd. Bloomington, IL 61704. The Rev. Keith Ferguson will officiate. Interment will be at East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Bloomington.
