Janet A. Joslin

Janet A. Joslin, 81, of Bloomington passed away April 26, 2025. She was born December 4, 1943, in Logan, IA to Harold and Margaret Mindrup and married the love of her life, James L. Joslin, on June 14, 1964.

Surviving are children - Jodi (Greg) Hoffman of Athens, IL; Jordan (Emily) Joslin of Normal, IL grandchildren -- Max Hoffman, Owen Joslin, Ava Joslin, Logan Hoffman, Eli Joslin; siblings – Larry (Linda) Mindrup of West Des Moines, IA. She is preceded in death by her husband James L. Joslin and parents – Harold and Margaret Mindrup.

Janet was a loving wife and mother who valued her faith. She held various positions within education including librarian and children’s minister. Later in life as her family matured, she became "grandma" to her grandkids and continued to volunteer as a Sunday school teacher and small group leader for nursing home residents. Over the years many have known her as hard-working, kind, and caring. Through her faith in Jesus, he shared the grace and love that guided her soul. Her legacy lives on though his family and friends as a woman who cared for all of those around her.

Cremation rites have been accorded with East Lawn Funeral Home, Bloomington. No services are planned. Private inurnment will be held at East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Bloomington.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Eastview Christian Church.
