He is survived by his wife: Kristy; children: Ronald (Marge) Roeske of Bloomington, David (Tera) Roeske of Dalton City, Tina (Godswill) Oletu of New Jersey, Cynthia Clark of Cooksville, Paul Causey of Kankakee, April (Brian) Russell of Berea, Kentucky, Crystal Causey of Henderson, Kentucky; grandchildren: Dale, Mariah, Hannah, Madison, Caitlyn, Ashley, Andrianna, Brason, Emma, Sophie, Deric, Nathan, Collin, Clay, Kayli; 6 great-grandchildren; brother: Lawrence Causey of Gilman; and nephews: Michael and Jonathan Causey. Junior is preceded in death by his mother: Marie Causey; biological father: Jr. Causey; special man who raised him: Henry Beckman; and grandson: Paul Jr.
Junior was a manager at Purple Martin gas station and Speedway on West Market Street in Bloomington for approximately 25 years. He also managed Casey’s General Store at 1301 South Main Street in Normal, retiring on October 1, 2018. Junior was the love of his wife, often affectionately referring to her as his “Feetie Fuv”. He was an ornery man, but even more than that he was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather that was only a phone call away if anyone ever needed him. Junior loved to be outdoors and prided himself on being able to teach his grandchildren new things, such as teaching Hannah, Dale, and Caitlyn how to drive.
Junior will be truly missed by all that had the pleasure of meeting him.
A public visitation will be held at East Lawn Funeral Home (1102 Airport Road) on March 24, 2021 from 2pm-3:30pm.
