Marie was born on September 8, 1917, in Bloomington, the daughter of Ruben and Deannie (Herron) Mounce. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford “Bud” Peasley.
Surviving are her two sons, Eugene Peasley of Arrowsmith, IL; and Jim (Cindy) Peasley of Bloomington; 10 grandchildren; and numerous great- grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a son, Eldon.
Marie was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Bloomington for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, and cooking meals for her family.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at East Lawn Funeral Home. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at East Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mclean County Nursing Home.
