He was born October 16, 1927 to John William and Etta Mae (Harmon) Vannoy. On June 17, 1950 he married Edith Dugger in Tennessee, she preceded him on December 3, 1999. Millard married Eleanor Snyder in 2000 in Tennessee.
Millard was a Deacon for many years at Smyrna Baptist and College Ave Baptist. He enjoyed wood working, gardening, golfing, hunting and was an avid Cubs fan.
Survivors include his wife Eleanor Vannoy of Mountain City, TN; sons: Charles (Debby) Vannoy of Mahomet, IL and Freddie (Melissa) Vannoy of Normal; grandchildren: Jordan Vannoy of Nashville, Drew Vannoy of Mahomet, Morgan Vannoy of Mahomet, Chelsea Vannoy of Bloomington; brother: John W. Vannoy Jr of Elizabethton, TN; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife Edith; sisters: Helen, Chloe, and Nell.
