Naomi "Jean" Knight

Jean was born December 29, 1952, in Peoria, the daughter of Robert Edgar and Eva Elizabeth Berry Hall.

Surviving are her children, David Knight; Kevin Knight; Jo (Steve) Bybee; Jamie (Chad) Wiechmann; and Vicki Camarillo; grandchildren, Brianna, Tyler, Darien and Blake Bybee; Emily Reed and Zack Wiechmann; Isabelle, Olivia, and Alaina Camarillo; Madison, Lexi, Ayden, and Melah Knight; a sister, Grace (John) Barnhart; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Joyce Carl, Peg Jeffers, and June Beeler.

Jean graduated from Kankakee Community College. She worked as a Registered Nurse for St Mary’s Hospital and Riverside Hospital, both in Kankakee. She also worked at Heritage Health, Normal and OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.

Jean loved reading, spending time with her family, being a granny and spoiling her grandchildren. She had a very dry sense of humor that kept everyone on their toes because they never knew if she was joking or being serious. She is loved by many and will be missed immensely.

Cremation has been accorded, a memorial service for family and all friends will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2017 at East Lawn Funeral Home, Bloomington.
