Born June 12, 1933 in Wapella, Illinois to Edward and Edith (Turley) George; she married Loyal Gale Williams on February 8, 1953 in Clinton, Illinois. He preceded her in death in 2004.
Also preceding in death were her parents; son, David Williams; and a great granddaughter Lillyan Williams.
Surviving are her son, Donald (Peggy) Williams of Bloomington; three grandchildren, David Williams, Jr, Jeromy Williams and Kenny Williams; and seven great grandchildren.
She had worked in the office at the Kathryn Beich Candy factory in Bloomington for many years.
Services will be private for the family and they request no flowers or memorials.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of East Lawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens.
