Richard was born to Claude and Mildred Griffieth.
In 1957 he married the love of his life Janice Lovell. She survives in Blm. Also surviving is his children Dick (Vicky) Griffieth Jr. of Blm., Michael A Griffieth of Elpaso, and Susan M. Andres of Blm.Also surviving three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was married two times after Janice.
He loved cooking out and fishing.
He graduated in 1957 from BHS.He got his Associates degree in Business Management in 1974. He was aTool and Die maker at GE, Modine and Eaton Corp. In Lincoln IL. He retired in 1999.
Richard had two brothers Herb Griffieth and Ron Mears that proceeded him in death.
He passed away peacefully in his home with his Son Dick Griffieth Jr. by his side.
