Sharon was born January 30, 1941, the daughter of Lee and Edwina (Redding) Bowman.
She is survived by her daughter, Tricia Mitchell Joslin, Colfax; and a son, Jeffrey Mitchell, Jacksonville, Arkansas; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; four siblings, Carol (Russ) Stephenson, Colfax; Gail Devore, Lexington; Lonnie (Serita) Bowman, Anchor; and Marcia (Jim) Walters, Merrimac, Wisconsin.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Sharon worked as a CNA in several nursing homes in the area. She will always be remembered for her friendly personality and kindness to others. Her family and bowling were the love of her life.
Per Sharon’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Colfax American Legion. Online condolences may be shared with the family at eastlawn-bloomington.com.
