

Suzy was preceded in death by her parents, Myron and Mabel Jones; her brother, Bill Jones; and by her beloved husband, John Thomas “Jack” Williams, with whom she shared 45 years of marriage.
She is survived by her brother, Bob Jones (Ginger), and by her loving family, including her three children: Cindy Weaver (Mark), Julie Hall (preceded in death by Bret Hall), and Pete Williams (Debbie Hopper).
Suzy was a proud and devoted grandmother to Tyler Weaver (Erin), Karly Saber (Christian), Talia Laquitara (Mike), Audrey Klawiter (Cameron), Lisa White (Ryan), John Hall (Jennifer), and Rachael Williams (Christoph). She was also blessed with fourteen cherished great-grandchildren: Jackson, Maddelyn, Noa, Kason, Felipe, Landen, Fallon, Annabella, Nico, Hayden, Charlotte, Cooper, Finley & Oliver.
Her servant heart led her to the University of Illinois to become an Occupational Therapist. A longtime member of Second Presbyterian Church, Bloomington Country Club, and PEO Chapter CL, Suzy enjoyed an active and meaningful life centered around family, friendships, and community. Her faith was strong and served as a guiding force throughout her life. She loved playing bridge, knitting, cooking, baking cookies for her family, and taking long walks — simple pleasures that brought her joy and created lasting memories with those she loved.
Suzy also enjoyed traveling and created many special memories on trips to Colorado, Florida, and abroad. Whether spending time with family, gathering with friends, or exploring new places, she embraced life with warmth and grace. Suzy will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, unwavering faith, and devotion to those she loved. Family was always at the center of her life, and she treasured every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Her family appreciates the loving care of the staff at Westminster Village. A Celebration of Life open house will be held in RC1&2 from 1:30 to 3:30pm on Friday, May 29th for staff and residents of Westminster Village.
Memorial service at Second Presbyterian Chapel will be held on Saturday, May 30th at 10:00 am followed by a brunch in the Fellowship Hall.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to Second Presbyterian Church (404 N Prairie St., Bloomington, IL 61701) or a charity of your choosing. Cremation rites have been accorded by East Lawn Funeral Home, Bloomington, IL.
