

(Garden of the Good Shepherd). Verna J. Wilson, 87, of Bloomington, passed away Monday (Nov. 19, 2018) at home with family at her side.
The family would like to invite friends and family to join them on Friday, September 20, 2019, at East Lawn Memorial Gardens for a simple graveside service at 2:00 pm to fulfill her wishes for inurnment. Reverend Janet Jones (Country Gospel Music Ministries) will lead the spiritual services.
Verna was born on Dec. 18, 1930, to Charles & Dorothy (Moran) McWhorter in Funks Grove/McLean, IL. Verna had been married to Darrell B. Busick, Frank W. Claycomb and Glenn Wilson, all preceded her in death. She is survived by three brothers: Ray McWhorter, Earl McWhorter and Richard McWhorter, all of Bloomington, her children: Judy Busick Tittle (Danvers, IL), Carol Busick Thoman (Danvers, IL), Diana Busick (Lexington, NC), Michael (Linda) Busick
(Bloomington, IL), and Cheryl Busick (Bloomington, IL). Verna had 10 grandchildren, 23
great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, many nieces and nephews.
Verna was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers: Lee and Charles (Sonny) McWhorter, four sisters: Maxine, Ruth, Norma, and Shirley, one son: Darrell Bruce Busick, son in law: Sam Thoman, one grandchild: Micheal L Busick and two greatgrandchildren: Adrianna Sturm and Ryan Kindig.
Verna had been employed with Admiral, Modine Manufacturing, and BroMenn Healthcare and was retired from The Eureka Company.
Verna was a long time supporter of the VFW Post #454. She had also been a member of the Eagles Post #527 and the Loyal Order Moose #745, where she loved to go dancing in earlier years. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. Verna loved music and supported area musicians by attending Live Music events and Open Mic Nights. She loved her extended Family.
