Betty Alice Byers Pearson

Betty Alice Pearson, age 87, of Bloomington, died Thursday evening at I.U. Health; Bloomington Hospice House. Born December 7, 1925 in Greene County, Indiana, she was the daughter of Lavon and Inis Byers. She was a devoted homemaker, master seamstress and a very loving companion of 66 years to her husband, Gale Owen Pearson, whom died on November 26, 2009. She was also a faithful member of Clear Creek Christian Church.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Sonja Hillenburg, of Bloomington; one grandson, Danny Hall, of Bloomington and two great-granddaughters, Nicole Hall and Holly Hall, both of Bloomington.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Donald Pearson.

The funeral service will be held on Monday at 1:30 P.M. at Clear Creek Christian Church. Burial will follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens. Friends may visit the family at the Deremiah-Frye Mortuary on Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. and on Monday from 12:30 to 1:30 P.M. at the church.
