
Bonnie Lou Banks, 59, of Bloomington, died Monday, June 23, 2014 in her residence. She was born May 28, 1955 in Oceanside, CA to Louis Albert O’Neal and Lois Dean Devaul O’Neal. She had been a cook at Indiana University.
Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Randy Banks of Bloomington; two daughters, Michelle Lynn Stubblefield and her husband Kyle of Gosport and Crystal Coralee Banks of Bloomington; a son, Justin Avery Banks of Bloomington; three brothers, Michael O’Neal, Timothy O’Neal and Kevin O’Neal; five grandchildren, Skyler, Destynee, Cody, Kennedy and Aiden Chevrolet; a brother-in-law, Kevin Banks; two sisters-in-law, Lori Banks and Deanna Breedlove; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Brandy Rochelle Taylor.
Bonnie was a member of the former Southside Assembly of God, now Grace Fellowship. She was affectionately known as a mother hen and everyone who knew her called her mommy. She was very active in her community and loved to read and bake and was very active in teaching her grandchildren how to cook
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 6:00 PM in Grace Fellowship Church with Pastor Bob Clendening officiating. Visitation is scheduled prior to services on Saturday from 5:00 – 6:00 PM in the church. If friends so desire, Memorial Contributions may be made to the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene & Harrell Chapel, 700 W Gourley Pike.
