Our family was heartbroken to hear of Brenda's passing. My wife, Theresa Malone, and I walk our grandson, Spyro, to Fairview every day. Seeing Brenda, chatting about our families and other matters, was always a highlight of our day. She was so devoted to her job as a crossing guard and so protective of the children's safety. She made our grandson feel special with her attention. Brenda was a special person, and we will miss her very much. We extend our deepest sympathy to the family.
