Geraldine Mae Glass

Geraldine Mae Glass, 85 of Bloomington, passed away in I.U. Health Hospice on March 22, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. Geraldine was born on November 1, 1928 to the late George and Lorna(Ivey)Pumford in Saganaw, Michigan.

Geraldine retired from Bloomington Convalescent Center where she worked as a nurses aid for many years.

She married Charles Glass on July 31, 1955 in Berrien Springs, Michigan.

Geraldine is survived by her loving husband Charles, two daughters: Dorothy Glass and Lois Ann Farr, one brother Lawrence Pumford, 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son Donald Glass, her sister Donna Fraser and her brother Russell Pumford.

Geraldine loved sewing, crocheting, camping, reading books to her children and teaching her family to have great patience.

Friends may call on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 from 4-8 p.m. in Deremiah-Frye Mortuary Greene & Harrell Chapel. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 26 at 1 p.m. also in the funeral home. The Rev Lawrence Pumford officiating.

Entombment in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
