John Dee Laven

John Dee Laven, 38 of Bedford and formerly of Bloomington died as the result of a truck accident in Sandusky County Ohio Wednesday March 19, 2014. He was born October 28, 1975 in Bloomington to Larry Carrington and Sandra Dee Laven. He was employed by Stone Belt Freight Lines.

Survivors include his wife, Tracy Sugg Laven of Sedalia, MO; four sons, Caleb and Nathan Laven and Todd and Travis Clunie; two aunts, Alice Vaughn and Bonnie Antolik; an uncle, Harry Dee Laven; a cousin who was like a sister, Rhonda Simpson and her husband Rob; and several other cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandmother, Dora Smith (Maw-maw); an uncle; and a cousin.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2014 from 2:00 – 6:00 PM in Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Green and Harrell Chapel, 700 W Gourley Pike. Burial will take place in Clear Creek Cemetery at a later date. There are no services scheduled.
