Mary Virginia Pfaff, age 85, of Whitehall, Indiana passed away peacefully January 12, 2020. She was born on June 17, 1934 in Bloomington. She was the daughter of Lowell and Dessa (George/Fox) Wilson. She enjoyed music, playing cards and spending time with her family. She was married to Dallas Ray Pfaff on April 29, 1951.
Mary is survived by her son, John R. Pfaff (wife-Terri), two daughters, Brenda K. Hearth (husband-Andrew) and Suzanne L. Coleman (husband-Rick), six grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, one brother, Tommy Bartlett (wife-Sara Jean); five sisters, Peggy Denbo, Billie Joyce Freeman (husband-Tim), Patty Sue Robinson (husband-Noel), Margaret Webb and Joann McCart, one sister-in-law, Donna Bartlett, one brother-in-law, Paul Demoss and several nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Lowell K. Wilson and Dessa (George/Fox) Wilson Bartlett McVey, her husband, Dallas, two brothers, Johnny Wilson and David Bartlett and one sister, Sarah “Sally” Demoss.
The funeral service will be at 12 noon Thursday at the Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene and Harrell Chapel; 700 W. Gourley Pike. Burial will follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon at the funeral home.
