Mary Alice Phillips
20 March, 1940 – 30 May, 2022
Mary Alice Phillips, 82, of Bloomington passed away, Monday, May 30th 2022 at Garden Villa. She was born on March 20th, 1940 in Bloomington, Indiana to Warren G. Drake and Alice G. Adkins.
Mary is survived by her three sons, Scott (Fritzie) Phillips, Kent (Stefanie) Phillips, and Charles “Chuck” (Julie) Long; eight grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Warren Drake and Alice Atkins; a son, Teddy Lee May; and a brother, Austin Johnson.
Mary enjoyed traveling, shopping, and visiting casinos (especially French Lick). She was a member of the Solsberry chapter of Order of the Eastern Star.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 2nd at 11am in White Oak Cemetery (1200 W 7th St, Bloomington, IN 47401). Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.DeremiahFryeMortuary.com for the Phillips family.
