Penny Robin Mullis-Ryan

Penny Robin Mullis-Ryan, age 63, of Bloomington, passed away in her home surrounded by family on Wednesday, December 9, 2020. She was born November 20, 1957 in Bloomington to Kenneth and Carolee (Fleetwood) Mullis. Penny was a member of the Highland Village Pentecostal Church. She was a graduate of Bloomington High School North, Class of 1975. Following high school she worked as an operator for A.T. & T. for many years. She then worked for Watkins Accounting.

In her free time Penny spent her time mushroom hunting, playing with her grandkids and gardening. She always had a listening ear and words of wisdom for her friends and family.

Penny is survived by her husband, John Ryan, of Bloomington; two daughters and sons-in-law, Amber and Kyle Zike and Audrey and Payton Windsor, all of Bloomington; two grandchildren, Kendall and Jesse; two brothers, Mike (Betty) Mullis and Steve (Joetta) Mullis, both of Bloomington; three sisters, Becky Neal, Shelly (Jeff) Jacobs, both of Bloomington and Candy (Michael) Robbins, of Bedford.

Penny was preceded in death by her parents.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Highland Village Pentecostal Church with Pastors Michael Douglas and Andrew King officiating. Burial will follow in Hindustan Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the IWIN foundation or to the Highland Village Church Building Fund.
