Rick Eugene Erwin

Rick Eugene Erwin, 46, of Spencer, died Tuesday, October 22, 2013 in Garden Villa Health Center. He was born July 18, 1967 in Bloomington to Donald Lee Erwin, Sr. and Nadine Sue Ware Erwin. Rick worked first in local grocery stores, before joining Local Union 618 and traveling the country as a stage hand. He was also a member of the former Agape Church and the NRA.

Survivors include his mother, Nadine Ware Erwin of Spencer; his father, Donald Lee Erwin, Sr. of Solsberry; a brother, Donald Lee Erwin, Jr. and his wife Patty of Solsberry; a sister, Misty Boswell of Ft. Knox, KY; two nieces, Brianna Boswell of Spencer and Kayla Erwin of Solsberry; a nephew, D. J. Erwin currently stationed at Ft. Hood, TX; and a great nephew Brantlee Thacker.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 25, 2013 in Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Green and Harrell Chapel, 700 W. Gourley Pike, with Reverend Frank Helton officiating. Visitation is scheduled prior to services on Friday October 25, 2013 form 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. Burial will follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
