Alex Nicholas Riznick, Jr., 94, of Boca Raton, FL, formerly of Arnold, Pennsylvania, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2026, peacefully at his home in Boca. Alex was born June 14,1931 in Arnold, Pennsylvania, the son of Mary Kochkodan and Alex Riznick, Sr. who resided in Arnold, Pennsylvania throughout their marriage. In 1953 Alex. Jr. married Lillian Haser and raised a family of three children: Scott, Renee and Rebecca. Alex and Lillian (Sis) were married for 67 years at the time of her passing. He is predeceased by his wife Lillian, parents Mary and Alex Riznick, Sr. and his sister, Joan Postupak.
Throughout his life, Alex had a memorable military career, helped his Father operate Riznick’s Bar and Grill, and was co-owner of Riznick-O’Neill Insurance Agency until his retirement at which time he and Sis moved to Florida to be near their children.
Al was very civically involved in whichever community in which he resided. He was an exemplary member of the First Presbyterian Church in Pompano Beach, FL, a proud member of the Boca Raton Chapter of the Shriners, and a member of the Veterans Association of Boca Raton.
Anyone who ever met Alex surely received a letter or card from him as he thoroughly enjoyed the time-honored tradition of writing instead of texting. He loved photography, reading, vintage cars, Amazon shopping and enjoying a good meal with family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Alex is survived by his son, Scott Riznick (Linda); daughters: Renee (Eugene) Marzullo; and Rebecca (Ronald) Andring; and grandchildren: Jennifer Hayward, Nicholas Marzullo, Tanner Mazullo (Jaimie), Ron Andring (Catherine); and great grandchildren: Remi Hayward and Winni Hayward.
