I worked with Andrew at urban league senior jobs program. I came in for an interview and he hired me to be in the office working with him, which was probably the best job you could get. During the time that I did work there we became friends and I enjoyed seeing him every day. He was definitely the highlight of that office. He was a great guy and he knew everybody’s name and their story and he actually cared about what he was doing. I just found out now when I called there of his passing. He will be missed by all. I am glad I got a chance to meet him and spend time with him I’m a better person for it. Thank you Andrew.

To Mr Andrew Werch’s Family.
I worked with Andrew at Urban a League FT Lauderdale’s Office. For the last four month, working remote, we talked each other 2/3 times a day. I had the privilege to talk to him 15 days before he passed, heard his fatigued voice was extremely hard, but at least we talked for the last time.
He was smart, kindest, honest, care giver, sincere and transparent person, I ever worked during last years.
My sincere deepest words to her sister and Werch’s Family.
With all my heart
Mrs Estela De La Haye

Andrew was a great and loyal friend. We met through mutual friends in Wilton Manors and his contagious smile always made people feel welcome and inclusive. His love of Hawaii was shared by his dark tan and aloha spirit. I love and miss you already.. 🌺
