From an early age, Brian lived life with intention and passion. At just 12 years old, he launched his first business, Complete Dockside Services, a boat-washing venture that would later put him through college and set the tone for a lifetime of entrepreneurial drive. He lived his dream and achieved the success he worked tirelessly for, always guided by his simple yet profound motto: “be a good human.”
This motto shaped every facet of Brian’s life, and he approached every situation with joy, a welcoming smile, and infectious enthusiasm. He was a natural connector who mentored others, forged lifelong friendships across the globe, and fearlessly took on new challenges. But above all, he was a devoted family man.
On September 28, 2002, he married his college sweetheart, Alexis Yoho. In 2011, they welcomed their son Elliott, the light of Brian’s life. Everything Brian did was grounded in love for his family. He was endlessly proud of Elliott’s accomplishments on the tennis and basketball courts, in robotics, and as a student at University School of Milwaukee.
A true adventurer at heart, Brian explored the world with Alexis and Elliott by his side, most recently to Tokyo and Australia. Whether hiking, mountain biking, or spending time on the water, he found joy in nature. Weekend mornings often meant coffee dates and walks with his beloved family and their Welsh terrier, Lizzie.
Professionally, Brian was a respected and visionary leader. At the time of his passing, he served as Chief Revenue Officer at ModMed, leading sales, marketing, and digital business. He previously held leadership roles at SAP Fieldglass, ManpowerGroup, and Mitsubishi. Throughout his career, he was known for his drive, integrity, and ability to inspire those around him. His colleagues remember him as a sharp, compassionate leader and a mentor who inspired others to achieve more than they thought possible.
Born May 5, 1978, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Brian studied at Tremper High School, St. Norbert College (BBA), and Marquette University (MBA)—educational experiences that helped him build a life rooted in hard work, kindness, and deep relationships.
Brian is survived by his loving wife, Alexis, and son, Elliott; his parents Jan and Al Boyd; his sister, Gina (Gene); his in-laws Terri and Bill Yoho; and dear friends across the world whose lives are brighter for having known him.
Following Brian’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private family burial will take place at Zion United Methodist Cemetery, Batavia, WI. In lieu of flowers, please consider a gift in Brian’s name to the Ice Age Trail Alliance or University School Milwaukee.
