Since he was a child Brian loved trucks and motorcycles, and was very skilled in mechanics. By the time he was nine years old, he had enough mechanical knowledge to take apart and reassemble car engines. He would use these skills throughout his life and career. Brian first worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator, and in 1998 he began his career as a truck driver. From 1999-2007, Brian was the successful business owner of Linear Transit. He worked for several trucking companies throughout his 23 year career, most recently at Storage Solutions in Schenectady. He was known as a loyal and reliable employee, and an excellent driver.
Throughout his life, Brian was a skilled soccer player, and also enthusiastically coached and supported his childrens' soccer endeavors. Brian also loved water, and went surfing any chance he could. More than anything else, Brian loved his family. He was looked up to by his siblings, was a trusted friend to many, and was known to do anything he could to help anyone that needed a hand.
Brian’s loving family includes his children, Xavier (Dema) Parsons and Charlie Wells; his mother, Karen Parsons; his fiancé, Andrea Eriksen; his grandchildren, Sawsan and Mateo; his siblings, Christopher (Mihui) Parsons, Keith (Robin) Parsons, Michael (Elizabeth) Parsons, and Laurie (Dax) Tacey; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.
