We are very sad to hear of the  passing of Carol ..
So many memories talking with Carol in the bar about foods new and old that was the menu!
She was a great mother and friend .

I would like to let all of the family members know how sorry I am for your loss. Carol was a fine lady and sister n law. I’m surely sorry that I or we didn’t spend more time together. I loved her and will miss her.

It is with great sadness and sorrow and grief that I say goodbye to my beloved sister Carol, first born of my parents, and with teary eyes I say Mom taught me to leave this world with dignity as an example for the younger ones to follow, and give them strength, you didn’t let us down, I love you and miss you, when it’s my time I will not let you down ,love Greg.

Carol was a remarkable woman. I had the privilege of seeing firsthand how deeply she cared and how generously she gave of herself as one of our most passionate volunteers. She had a rare gift for building meaningful relationships and connecting people in ways that made a lasting difference. Her tireless advocacy was instrumental in the creation of the Orokawa YMCA.  Her impact will be felt for years to come.

Aunt Carol was both my aunt and my godmother—a pairing that, in many ways, felt just right. Our relationship was one of closeness, friendship, and shared joy. We spent time cooking together, discovering new places whenever I moved somewhere unfamiliar, and bonding over our mutual love of style and decorating.  We also both loved playing cards.

Some of my favorite memories are the places we explored together—the California redwoods, Cumberland Island, Carmel and Pebble Beach, and so many beaches along the East Coast. Those trips weren’t just about the destinations, but about the time we shared along the way.

She was a strong and kind woman who built a successful, lifelong career while raising two daughters and caring for her grandchildren. She managed life with grace, but more importantly, she truly embraced it. She didn’t just balance responsibilities—she found joy in the journey every step of the way.

To me, she was more than family. She was a mentor, a guide, and a dear friend. I’ve learned so much from her, and I will carry those lessons forward, especially in my own role as a godmother.
Her laughter, and that unmistakable sparkle in her eye, will be deeply missed—but never forgotten.

Carol was my sister, my matron of honor, and my dear friend. We shared strong family values and many cherished moments together—whether gathered with loved ones or traveling. She was always upbeat and positive, and she never hesitated to lend a hand to anyone in need. She will be dearly missed by all of us, and we will think of her every day.
